The Constitutional American Believes the Following
- Neither congress nor any other law making body shall pass any law that in any way diminishes, circumvents, nor negates any part of the Constitution or the rights of the individual.
- As only congress can make law, no agency of the federal government or any state government can issue a regulation that carries the force of law.
- We endeavor to rate candidates and elected officials for federal and state offices in accordance with their adherence to constitutional principles of a small central government and individual sovereignty.
- In a situation where the right of the individual American citizen is in conflict with a deemed national interest, the right of the citizen shall prevail. If national interests are allowed to prevail, then over time the central government accrues more power and control and the rights of the individual diminish.
- We declare war against Marxist ideology.
The Constitutional American
The Constitutional American is of the Republican party and philosophy and believes that the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land and treats all people equally. It endeavors to reinstitutionalize patriotism.
The Constitutional American endeavors to inform voters of the actual political philosophy of their elected officials and judges at the state level as well as the federal level. The true political position of the legislator or judge is manifested with each vote or ruling made.
Frequently, measures voted or ruled upon extend more power and authority to one of three entities; the individual, the local state or to the central government. The Constitutional American prioritizes the individual citizen, then state, and last the central government. This aligns with the original intent of the framers of the constitution, a small central government with limited powers.
The Constitutional American ranks legislators and candidates by referencing organizations such as govtrack, The Freedom Index, and others to compile a rating for each legislator. A rating of 0 to 1oo is assigned. The process gives the individual voter a clearer look and understanding of the person for whom they are casting their vote.
