In the beginning there was Work
and it was virtuous.

Then came Money.
By working, one could make money.
Not every could work.

Inequality was born.
Words like poor and rich
amplified inequality.

Then came Government.
Government could print Money
It printed money for the workers
and gave money to others
who didn’t.

Soon fewer and fewer people worked.
The government printed more and more money.
Before long, money was every where,
and it was free.

Who wanted to work for free money?
With few people working, food became scarce.
Riots ensued. Famine,
destruction, was ever where.

Only a few survived.
They found if they worked
they could live.

Once again,
there was Work
and it was virtuous.

Most empires, dictatorships, have in some way morphed along this path. We are an empire. When did Marxism start making its influence in the U. S.?
