United States
The Constitutional American endeavors to inform voters of the actual political philosophy of their elected officials. That philosophy is revealed by their votes on the various bills. Frequently, a bill will extend power to the central government, the state or to the individual. We believe the individual should take priority over the central government.
Thus, we rate legislators based on their votes that favor more power to the people.
What We Demand of Our Legislators
- Defund departments or agencies not authorized by the constitution or repeal the act that created them, for example the Department of Education.
- Defund any department or agency that violates its authority of collecting mass information or censoring public discourse directly or thru third parties.
- Any regulation or guidance purposed by a regulatory agency must pass thru congress in order to be legally enforced in a court of law.
- Extend statutory time limits to allow more time for discovering or uncovering malfeasance or unlawful activity of the various agencies or individuals of the federal government. No less than ten years minimum.

Rating The Politicians
The system used to rate politicians is based on the Freedom Index which was developed by the John Birch Society. It’s main principles rest on the concepts of smaller governments, fiscal responsibility, less regulation at the federal level, protecting our Constitutional rights as originally envisioned, and ensuring our inalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
While the determination of whether the vote on any particular piece of legislation is a “Good” or “Bad” vote is subjective, the default factor is simply who will benefit, who will accrue more power and responsibility, the central government or the State and the People? Votes favoring the states and people rate the highest.
A rating scale of 0 to 100, with 100 the best, is used. A low score does not mean the vote is wrong, it simply implies a progressive or liberal vision of the role of government versus the individual. Thus, a politician with a low score advocates for a central government to control the complexities of daily life as opposed to a high score where the individual is granted the power to solve their own problems. The administrative state is symbolic of this regulating of everything, i.e., HUD is better at housing people than the local states.
Also being considered in the rating is the role the U.S. plays in the world. The politician that holds the view that the U.S. should promote the policies of the World Economic Forum and or of the United Nations and its auxiliary agencies such as WHO, thus subjecting the U.S. to outside powers would result in a lower score as opposed to those who reject such policies.
The scores shown in the chart below are based on the votes that were taken in 2023 and recorded by the government and posted on their site for public viewing.
